Buffet (not Jimmy) invests in America’s future - railroads??!!

Rail travel was one of my favourite parts of living in London.  Of course, it has to do with the fact that Europe is so compact - meaning that I could get from London to Wurzburg, Germany in oh… about the same amount of time it would take just to cross KANSAS.  But, if somehow, some way we could get a useful passenger rail system - I would be thrilled.  And with 27 bil from Warren, maybe?  Just maybe??

Veetle

Used veetle last night to watch the Yanks win the series.  It was great.  A bit laggy and splotchy at times, but overall it worked tremendously well for what it was - pirated cable streamed live over the interweb in near HD quality.  I look forward to NFL games and European soccer matches via veetle.  Bravo technology!!
